Two More Pieces Dropped Last Rehearsal

Three More Titles Pulled

Cory dropped three more pieces on Thursday, March 10. They are:

• Where Is Love?
• Ain't Misbehavin'
• Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat

Please remove these pieces from your binders. There will be more pieces dropped as we go along, and our binders will get lighter. The trick is to still keep enough to make a great performance, so practice hard on the pieces we still have!

Dropped Song and Performance Date Set

In our rehearsal on March 3rd. Cory asked us to pull the piece, "I Dreamed a Dream."

Also,THE OFFICIAL DATE FOR OUR PERFORMANCES IS MAY 22 AND 23.

Drop Dead Day!

During Thursday, February 25th's rehearsal, Cory announced that Drop Dead Day is April 14. That means by that date, you should know all of the music. He would prefer that it be memorized by that date.

Also, our performance dates will either be May 15 and 16, or May 22 and 23, so put those dates on your calendars.

Notes from Feb 25th Rehearsal

On Thursday, February 25th Cory reminded the choir that we need to come to rehearsal on time. We need a full two hours of rehearsal time, and Cory needs to be finished by 9:30 in order to get his children to bed on time.

Cory also emphasized working hard to learn our music early on in the season. This means that we will have to practice at home and not just at our weekly rehearsals. If we can learn the music well and early, it will prevent our having to have double rehearsals each week towards the end of the season. It will also make life a lot less stressful for Cory, who is under a tremendous amount of stress as it is.
